MUSEUM PERKEBUNAN INDONESIA
Established in 2016 in Medan, Museum Perkebunan Indonesia is a specialized institution committed to preserving the historical and cultural heritage of Indonesia’s plantation sector. The museum plays a vital role in safeguarding the region’s legacy, including its significant “Dactyloscopy Archives”—a crucial record of plantation workers brought from Java during the colonial period.

GALERI LOKANANTA
Lokananta, born on October 29, 1956 in the heart of Surakarta, Central Java, is Indonesia’s state-owned vinyl pressing plant and national recording house—a guardian of the nation’s sonic heritage. After decades of transformation, it was lovingly revitalized in 2022. Within its grounds lies Galeri Lokananta, a public gallery first opened in 2023, where echoes of the past unfold. Here, visitors are invited to journey through the rich tapestry of Lokananta’s history and immerse themselves in Indonesia’s timeless sound archives.
