Film researcher and media archivist Julita Pratiwi is taking part in MUSEUM FORWARD 2025 as a collaborator with Galeri Lokananta, one of Indonesia’s historic music and audio archives. In this session, she will walk participants through the processes and approaches she has undertaken with the Lokananta team since July. Julita will reflect on key findings, challenges encountered, and lessons gained throughout the collaboration. She will also offer recommendations to strengthen audio archive preservation and management in Indonesia, highlighting best practices and strategies to support the long-term sustainability and accessibility of the nation’s audio heritage.
This event will be delivered in Bahasa Indonesia and hybrid, live from Studio Lokananta (Surakarta, Indonesia) and online via Zoom.
