As an expert collaborator for Museum Nyah Lasem in Rembang, Central Java, historian and lecturer Haffata Yahfitu Zahra contributes to the MUSEUM FORWARD 2025 programme through the development of tailored educational modules for the museum’s residency and organic school initiatives. In her masterclass session, she will present the key insights gained from this work, highlighting innovative methods, challenges encountered, and successes achieved.
Haffata will also offer recommendations for building sustainable learning practices that strengthen community engagement and volunteer participation in museums. Her reflections underscore the importance of long-term educational strategies that empower local communities and foster ongoing learning.
