For our third masterclass session, “Archiving Indonesian Materials in the Nationaal Archief”, Alex Enzlin will discuss digitisation, conservation, and exhibition workflows, drawing from his archival practice at the Nationaal Archief. As an expert collaborator for MUSEUM FORWARD 2025, Alex has been working closely with Museum Perkebunan Indonesia to support the preservation and development of the Dactyloscopy Archives. He will also share his findings on Indonesian archival materials connected to AVROS, the Dutch colonial plantation company behind the collection, offering fresh perspectives on how these records contribute to Indonesia’s wider archival heritage.
